Educating a girl is the key to breaking the chain of poverty.

Free The Children puts the infrastructure in place to allow girls in the community to go to the school, including water projects that enable girls to collect water on their way home from class, rather than spending six hours a day walking to collect water. Find out more about what Free The Children's Power of a Girl Initiative is doing to educate girls and change the world.
